After more than two decades of providing compassionate pediatric dental care to the Happy Valley community, Dr. Young has officially retired from dentistry. His dedication, kindness, and gentle approach made a lasting impression on countless families—and his legacy will continue to shine at Young Kidz Dental.
“It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community and care for your children’s smiles,” Dr. Young shared. “Pediatric dentistry has allowed me the rare and rewarding opportunity to watch so many of my patients grow—from their first visit to young adulthood. I hope I’ve helped create positive experiences that support a lifetime of healthy habits.”
As Dr. Young steps into a well-earned retirement filled with new adventures, family time, and travel, he leaves the practice in trusted hands.
We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Kasey Hall as the new owner and pediatric dentist at Young Kidz Dental. Dr. Kasey has already been part of the practice over the last several months, meeting families and becoming a familiar, friendly face.
An Oregon native, Dr. Kasey completed his undergraduate degree at Portland State University and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from OHSU. He went on to complete a two-year pediatric residency in Providence, Rhode Island, where he trained in all facets of pediatric dental care—from surgery and trauma management to orthodontics and sedation.
As a father of four young kids, Dr. Kasey deeply understands what it takes to make a dental office feel safe, welcoming, and even fun.
“It’s been such a joy getting to know this community,” said Dr. Kasey. “Dr. Young built something truly special here, and I’m committed to continuing that level of care and connection. We’re also bringing some exciting updates to the practice, including new services, new technology, and a refreshed brand and website that better reflects who we are and where we’re going.”
While the look and feel of Young Kidz Dental may be evolving, our core mission stays the same: to provide thoughtful, high-quality dental care tailored specifically for kids, all in a friendly and family-focused environment.
